Can you tell us about your research, work and expertise in Southeast Asia?
I am a military officer turned researcher, drawing on my positionality and insights into military culture to critically examine gender politics within the Thai armed forces. My research explores how Thai military women construct and represent their identities online, framing these digital spaces as key sites where evidence of militarisation (of women's lives) and gendered militarism unfold.
