Dr Xuebin Yang

I have a clinical background in orthopaedics and research expertise in stem cell therapy and tissue engineering using biomaterial scaffolds and in vitro, and in vivo models, particularly in using epigenetic modification to control stem cell functionality. I had some collaborations in student education and research & innovation with universities and hospitals in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. In the meantime, I am the Deputy Pro Dean: International at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, which includes four schools in medicine, dentistry, healthcare and psychology. I am also the School Internationalisation Lead for the School of Dentistry. Thus, I am interested in developing strategic partnerships with Southeast Asia countries to promote international collaboration in both student education and research innovation in medical and healthcare.
